I love that the city regularly comes around and picks up everyone's inevitable buildup of crap. They didn't used to do that in the olden days. Sometimes it actually feels like we live in an advanced civilization, though not often enough. It's exciting for the salvage crowd, which can include a wide variety of people. The piles get picked over pretty well before the city comes around with the claw truck. It's naturally efficient. Linda and I once found a door that we ended up using as our headboard. Treasure is a word I use to describe you.

Day #16 The New Heater

Day #16 The New Heater

Joseph warms himself in front of our new heater. So far, all have been pleased with our purchase. It's warm, it turns on quickly and it doesn't turn off every few minutes. And it doesn't stink.

Don't stand too close, Jo.
